As a RUSH fan and a photographer, I am saddened to hear of Andrew MacNaughtan's passing January 25th. Andrew, only in his 40's, apparently had a heart attack after finishing a shoot with RUSH in Los Angeles. Andrew had won four Junos (the Canadian Grammy); three for album design and one for his work on the 2003 ‘Rush in Rio’ live DVD. He also worked with Bryan Adams, Celine Dion and the Tragically Hip among many others, in addition to magazine and commercial work.

May 2011: Image auctioned to raise money for Golden Heart Ranch.

The image "Sierra Cabin" was auctioned to raise money for Golden Heart Ranch. Golden Heart Ranch is dedicated to building a life center residential community where special needs young adults can live, learn, work and play side-by-side in a harmonious and caring environment that is emotionally and physically safe.

The image was printed using an emulsion transfer process to 12x18 inches, matted and framed using archival techniques to 28x30 inches. The emulsion transfer process produces one of a kind image, transferring the pigments to a stone based paper in a wet process.
