2026 Here We Come!

Nearly 15 years now shooting high-end real estate on top of a decade plus shooting / assisting products from HotWheels and Barbie to diamond rings, blenders and bedspreads. From large format “4x5” studio film cameras to high megapixel digital marvels. It’s always an exciting challenge.

For ‘26 I’m looking to hold my pricing as tight as possible. A small “cost of living” bump of 3.7% will however be seen beginning Q2 2026 for most of my projects. That said, I’m also going to be adding some visual marketing items for my real estate clients including digital video walkthrough videos. I’ve had some call for this over the recent years, and recently invested in upgrading my DSLR video gear including stabilized gimbal camera mount systems. Editing continues to be done with DaVinci Resolve and final reels delivered in 30-120sec clips.

Drone stills and video continue to be available via my FAA licensed and insured contractor. Many times I’m asked if this is necessary, licensing and insurance? Well first off it is required. Professional work (paid) done using a drone requires a licensed pilot. And insurance is something I know I wouldn’t fly without. Flying over cars and around buildings would be foolish without it.

I’ll of course continue to shoot smaller (sub 1200sqft) projects such as condos and the like, but am beginning to focus on larger and more new / newly remodeled properties. This includes newly constructed properties for builders and architects.

So, let’s see what 2026 brings us! Every years has been exciting, and I’m pretty sure the next one won’t disappoint.
